Deep tech, not out yet

Tokenized stocks are live. The vault that owns them as an NFT is not. Native issuance is a handful of names. The NYSE 24/7 book is being built. Creator fees that buy the underlying do not exist on any launchpad. This is the research the building is designed around — sourced, dated, and honest about what has not shipped.

01The bookNot released

An NFT that owns the accounts

Wrappers put stock in an SPV and sell you a claim. Superstate puts the cap table on-chain and acts as transfer agent. Nobody has shipped a vault whose owner is the NFT itself — the ATAs derived from a Metaplex Core asset, so the book travels with the picture.

xStocks and Backpack are security entitlements: 1:1, convertible, held at a broker. Ondo is economic exposure; supply stays constant and corporate actions hit price (Scaled UI balance on Solana). Superstate Opening Bell is the legal register — Galaxy, Exodus, Forward Industries already write ownership on-chain as the token moves.

A DataCenter is the next step. Mint burns $BTRC, issues a Core NFT, derives a vault. Activating opens one token account per name in the rotation. Rounds credit every live vault the same. Sell the NFT and the whole book goes with it. There is no claim button. The stock is already sitting in an account only that NFT can own.

On Station · This is the DataCenter. It is not live on mainnet. The mint here is the tape for it.

02The launcherNot released

Creator fees that buy the stock

Every launchpad takes a cut. None of them buy the underlying for the people holding. 75% of creator fees on a Station coin buy the named stock, pro rata. 15% hits the DataCenter pot. 10% is the protocol.

Pump-style coins pay the creator. xStocks pay the issuer. A Station coin is a distribution machine: pick Apple, NVIDIA, Anduril, gold — the fees buy that, and holders receive it because they hold the coin, not because they clicked claim.

The image is written into the mint. Metadata is JSON with the split burned in. A coin that earns nothing costs nothing and waits. That loop does not exist on any live launchpad as of September 2026.

On Station · Launch a coin. The mark you upload is the mark on-chain. The pays field is the buy.

03The registerBuilding

Native issuance vs the wrapper

Phase 1 is an SPV claim. Phase 2 is DTCC bringing existing CUSIPs on-chain (Canton pilot, not retail). Phase 3 is the issuer minting the share itself. Superstate is already phase 3 for a handful of names. Figure filed a second S-1 to issue native equity on Solana. Most of the market is still phase 1.

Ondo Global Markets: 250+ names on Solana since January 2026, total-return model. xStocks: 100+ SPL wrappers, ~$440M on Solana, Nasdaq DeFi framework announced March 2026. Backpack Securities: 1:1 entitlements, SPCX day-one with the SpaceX Nasdaq listing, $1.5B in the first month across six names.

rwa.xyz, 2 Sept 2026: Ondo $836M, xStocks $610M, Superstate Opening Bell $46M — three names, because native issuance is slow. The slow one is the one that matters. A DataCenter only holds what can sit in an account. Wrappers can sit. Native shares can sit. Synthetics cannot.

On Station · Rotation is thirteen names that can clear a vault. The launcher is wider. TradeCenter quotes both.

04The venueBuilding

NYSE tokenized securities, 24/7

ICE said it in January 2026: a NYSE venue for tokenized securities, instant settlement, stablecoin funding, Securitize as digital transfer agent. It is being built. It is not a public book you can hit today.

When it opens, the on-book tape will look like what people expect from a stock exchange that happens to settle in stables. TradeCenter is the other door: no public book, you call out size, the broker answers with a number, you take it or you don't. Fills are meant to land in the same vault the rounds credit.

Kraken already lists xStock perps. Coinbase International has stock perps. Hyperliquid licensed the S&P 500. Perps are exposure. A DataCenter is the shares. Do not confuse the two.

On Station · Call out size on TradeCenter. The quote is the TradeCenter, not an order book.

The book before the listing

Robinhood teased tokenized private-company secondary for EU. US retail still cannot hold Anduril, OpenAI, Anthropic, Neuralink as a token that is the stock. The rotation here already treats them as names the pot can buy.

SpaceX listed June 12, 2026. Backpack had SPCX the same day. That is the model: listing morning, the token is the entitlement. Anduril, OpenAI, Anthropic, Polymarket, Kalshi, Neuralink are still private. Tokenizing them as anything other than a claim against a broker book is not released.

Station’s rotation includes them because the TradeCenter has to know the name before the listing, or the round that prints on listing day has nowhere to put the stock. The vaults are empty of those names until the entitlement exists. The name is on the tape anyway.

On Station · ANDURIL, OPENAI, ANTHROPIC, NEURALINK sit the rotation. The vault credits them when the share can actually settle.

06The plumbingNot released

Splits, dividends, Scaled UI

When a stock splits, somebody has to change the number in the account. Robinhood, xStocks, Superstate rebase the balance. Ondo keeps supply constant and moves price — Scaled UI on Solana so wallets still show the economic share.

A DataCenter that holds AAPLx has to pick. Rebase is honest: the NFT’s ATA balance changes, the picture does not. Total-return is honest too, if you never promised a share count. Mixing them in one vault is how you lie.

This program is not on mainnet. The rule is written: rotation names rebase. Launcher names that pay a wrapper follow the issuer. Gold does not split.

On Station · Docs, section 06. The vault does not have a claim button for dividends either — they credit the same account.

07The cashLive elsewhere

On-chain cash that actually sweeps

State Street and Galaxy shipped SWEEP on Solana in May 2026: a tokenized liquidity fund, 24/7 subscriptions in stablecoin, a G-SIB on a public chain. The pot here still sits in SOL until a round clears. That is a choice, not a limitation.

wYLDS (Figure) wraps treasuries as an SPL and stays liquid. Morpho vaults take PayPal dollars as collateral. Forbes called vaults the infrastructure of the near future in July. They meant ERC-4626-shaped funds. A DataCenter is a vault whose share class is an NFT, not a receipt token.

When the pot can sweep into SWEEP between rounds, it will. Until then it waits for the threshold and buys the next name. Idle yield is a later version. The product is the stock in the book.

On Station · History is every round settled. Analytics is what the pot bought, by day.

08The ruleBuilding

Project Crypto, still a rumor with a name

Pantera’s 2026 letter: tokenized stocks accelerate when the SEC’s Innovation Exemption under Project Crypto actually debuts. It has not. Native issuance is still a transfer-agent business, not a blanket permission.

Until it does, the legal shapes stay: entitlement (Backpack, xStocks), total-return note (Ondo), registered equity with an on-chain TA (Superstate), and experiments like Figure’s second S-1. Station’s DataCenter assumes the third shape — a thing that can be owned — and degrades to the first if that is all the name has.

Bullish bought Equiniti (transfer agent for ~30% of the S&P) and demoed wallet-to-wallet transfer of its own cap table on Solana at Consensus 2026. That is the direction. It is not a product you can mint.

On Station · We do not wait for the exemption to design the vault. We wait for it to fill the vault with registered shares.
